2024 James R. Talton Jr. Leadership Award Nomination Form

Nomination packets for the Talton Leadership Award must be received in the Chief of Staff’s Office (Spilman 202) no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, February 23, 2024.

The nomination packet should include the following items:

  1. This completed form
  2. A letter of nomination. Nomination letters should highlight how the nominee demonstrates specific criteria for the award:
    – Exhibits the characteristic of a servant leader
    – Demonstrates continuous learning and development
    – Fosters the development of others
    – Demonstrates strong character and ethical professionalism
    – Demonstrates uncommon commitment to service in an active role as a positive change agent
  3. Up to four additional letters of support are not required but will be accepted.
  4. No incomplete packets will be considered.
